Hello Gators! Here are 5 important items for your weekly summer swim update:

Last call for sponsors! We would not be able to have such a fun, successful swim season without our sponsors' generosity. The cut off date for sponsors to make it on to our 2026 team shirt is April 7th! If you are interested in sponsoring the team, please reach out to board member Christy Vance, no later than 4/7, and she can share the 3 levels of sponsorship with you. Thank you in advance!

Parent Meeting: Save the date for April 16th at 6pm. This is when parent volunteer jobs are discussed. To see all future dates of events, please scroll to the bottom of the website of glenoaksswimteam.com

Spring Swim Clinic: Registration is now open! The Spring Swim Clinic is held at the Blairwood Pool from 2-3pm on Sundays (4/19, 4/26, 5/3, and 5/10). $60 per swimmer. Perfect for our young swimmers new to the team or anyone who would like to knock the rust off before practices begin. This is not prorated as we have to commit to a certain # of lanes to rent and coaches to attend. Have your swimmer attend as many clinics as they are able to. To register, login to your SwimTopia account, under SwimTopia HOME tab, click registration and choose “2026 Spring Clinic.” Please register by 4/17.

Practice Schedule: We are getting many questions about this already as you are trying to plan ahead for your summer. We are still awaiting approval from the pool, however we will most likely have a similar schedule as 2025 which can be found on the website, glenoaksswimteam.com

Suits, Caps, and Shirts: Suits are available for purchase at Swimville. Personalized swim cap order forms will be available soon for order, also through Swimville..

1. ***Note EVERY swimmer will receive a swim cap (as part of their registration fee) at no additional charge. If you would like a Personalized cap with a name on it, that is optional and ordered through Swimville. 
2. Also, see attached picture for team suits. We wear the same suit for two years; this is year two. The suits are Dolfin brand with girls having a crossback suit and boys will have a choice of jammer (hit above the knee) or racer (speedo style). You can purchase these at Swimville, where they will have sizes for your child to try on in store. Also be sure to join the Facebook group, as many parents may sell/swap suits from last summer. 
3. Every swimmer will receive a T-Shirt and a non personalized Cap (has GO logo but without the last name). The cost of these were included in your registration fees.

We are thrilled to have 216 swimmers registered already, with some age groups at capacity. Waitlists have been started for 6U Boys, 7/8 Girls and 9/10 Girls. If you have a friend interested, have them sign up ASAP!
