5 team records were broken in Monday’s meet against Blairwood!
In boys’ 11-12 50 meter breaststroke, Aiden Bell’s record time of 39.99 broke Clay Nunley’s time of 40.08 set in 2012.
In boys’ 11-12 50 meter butterfly, Charlie Hazel’s record time of 32.65 lowered his previous time of 32.99 set earlier this season.
In the boys’ 11-12 200 meter medley relay, the team of Charlie Hazel, George Nettles, Aiden Bell and Know Hawkins’ record time of 2:26.05, broke the previous time of 2:27.64 set by Tucker Hutchens, Jack Ballerstedt, Max Anderson and Chase Kuhn set in 2021.
The 11-12 girls broke both relay records on Monday! In the girls’ 11-12 medley relay, the team of Emma Kang, Abby Cochran, Madelynn King and Elizabeth Smither’s record tine of 2:21.07 broke the previous time of 2:23.26 set by Asia Seidt, Emma Brazeau, Emily LeClair and Lauren Miller in 2009.
In the girls’ 11-12 freestyle relay, the team of Abby Cochran, Emma Kang, Elizabeth Smither and Madelynn King record tine of 2:07.16 broke the previous time of 2:08.19 set by Abby Cochran, Emily Nichols, Elizabeth Smither and Madelynn King last week.
